SABC3 will be premiering the exciting new game show Take It All from Howie Mandel based on the popular holiday party game from 26th February 2016 at 19.30.
Hosted and executive produced by Howie Mandel (America’s Got Talent), Take It All is an exciting game show that revolutionizes the popular holiday tradition of gift-swapping. This game show is based on one of the most popular holiday party games in America, often called “White Elephant” or “Yankee Swap.
Each episode features a contestant who selects and opens a prize worth thousands of dollars, dream prizes such as luxury cars, exotic trips, jewelry and VIP experiences. The next player is then faced with a dilemma: do they steal a prize that has already been revealed, or do they take a chance with another unopened prize, hoping what’s inside is worth more? But wait – that’s just the beginning.
When only two contestants remain, they are faced with a life-changing decision: keep the prizes they have or Take It All! If both players choose to “keep mine,” they will each keep the prizes they have won in the prior rounds. If one player chooses “keep mine” and the other chooses to “take it all,” the player that chose “take it all” will go home with all the prizes — theirs and their opponent’s. But if both choose “take it all,” they both go home with nothing. The stakes are insanely high as each contestant grapples with the choice of a lifetime.
Take It All is from Universal Television and Alevy Productions. Mandel (NBC’s America’s Got Talent), Scott St. John and Mike Marks are the executive producers.

Howie Mandel – Host
Mandel serves as a judge on America’s Got Talent. Mandel’s versatile career has encompassed virtually all aspects of the entertainment spectrum, including television, film and stage. From his work on the Emmy-Award winning St. Elsewhere to the international animated children’s series Bobby’s World, Mandel has become a mainstay of the American comedy scene. In 2009, Mandel added another title to his resume, author, when he released his frank, funny, no-holds-barred memoir “Here’s the Deal: Don’t Touch Me.” Mandel started his career on a dare during a trip to Los Angeles in 1979. He was at the legendary Comedy Store on amateur night and was coaxed by his friends to get up and try his luck. As fate would have it, there was a producer in the crowd who immediately hired him to appear on the comedy game show Make Me Laugh. His appearance on the show led to talk show appearances, a stint as Diana Ross’ opening act, and eventually to the television series, St. Elsewhere. Howie Mandel’s Emmy Award-nominated animated children series Bobby’s World ran for eight seasons and now appears in syndication six days a week in 65 countries. As the series creator and executive producer, Mandel was closely involved in its writing, as well as providing the voice of Bobby, Bobby’s dad and other characters. Mandel has done countless comedy specials both on cable and network television. He has also hosted his own syndicated talk show, The Howie Mandel Show, and continues to be a mainstay on the talk show circuit. He frequently appears on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno performing his signature hidden-camera bits. Mandel also continues to perform as many as 200 concerts a year throughout the U.S. and Canada.
