The family learns that Monwabisi is stable, but Mandlakazi is in a serious condition. Reba feels guilty and wants to break up with Stitch. Pitso comes to take Mpho home. Damian surprises everyone as he holds down the fort through all the chaos and lack of faith from customers at Namane Funerals.

Mpho refuse to go back home with his father debanding to be by Monwabisi’s bed. Monwabisi bleeds internally and is put on life support. Tsietsi’s aunt Nokulunga comes to visit him in jail. Mickey is intercepted at the Australian airport by Interpol. A power surge damages the Namane fridges and Damian has to make a plan in order to keep the bodies cold.

Selo learns that he must decide if he will switch off Monwabisi’s life support and use his heart for Mandlakazi. Nkonzo reconstructs the shooting incident and questions the Namane family and friends. Nokulunga asks Selo to help Tsietsi. Damian struggles to keep it together after hearing about Monwabisi. A body goes missing at the Namane funerals.

Selo says his final goodbye to Monwabisi. Reba prevents Bab’ Hlongwane from entering the hospital. Mpho is shocked to learn of the decision to turn off Monwabisi’s life support. Nkonzo trades information with the Interpol Officer to get Mickey extradited. Tsietsi refuses to talk despite mounting evidence against him.

Bab’ Hlongwane doesn’t arrive in time for the transplant. Mandlakazi’s operation is a success but she is too weak to be told about Monwabisi. Nkozo brings Mickey back to the country and tries to turn him in. Damian is distraught over Monwabisi’s death. Stitch supports Reba during her loss.

Mpho uses Pinki to bring back Monwabisi’s body after pretending to be his wife. Tsietsi panics because he has no lawyer for the bail hearing Reba is distraught after the bail hearing. Violet comes back and offers to take over for Damian, but he wants to be in charge.

Selo asks Reba to take charge at Namane funerals. Tsietsi sneaks into the hospital to see his mother and Selo throws him out. Nkonzo gets a lead on Nokulunga. Damian and Violet both try to run Namane funerals. Stitch is falling deeply in love for Reba, but she is not interested.

Selo rufuses for Mpho to be involved in the funeral arrangements for monwabisi. Mandlakazi wakes up and asks for Monwabisi. Nokulunga clashes with Mpho and Mantsho at the namane residence on her way to fetch Tsietsi’s clothes. Tsietsi and Nokulunga look to future plans and how to survive. Damian tries to assert his authority at Namane Funerals when Violet gives orders.

Reba discovers that Selo paid Tsietsi’s bail and feels betrayed. Selo washes and dresses Monwabisi. Nkonzo confronts Nokulunga about her past. Stitch says his emotional goodbye’s to Monwabisi. Damian and Nokulunga meet and the two divas suss each other out.

It is a painful day in the Namane house as they lay one of their own to rest. Mandlakazi lies in hospital and can’t bury her son. Nkonzo stops the burial. Nokulunga uses the funeral to position herself in the Namane family and delivers a sad speech.

Selo plans to keep Monwabisi’s death a secret from Mandlakazi, but things change when Nokulunga inadvertently lets the cat out of the bag during her visit with Mandlakazi. Tsietsi finds it impossible to get a good lawyer for the money he has. Tsietsi talks to Mpho for the first time after the shooting.

Tsietsi and Nokulunga work on getting their tombstone business off the ground. Nokulunga plans to steal valuable data from Namane Funerals.Violet and Damian try to lure Shabangu’s unhappy clients to save their jobs.
