The Edge of Tomorrow, cruises in at the top of the South African box office with a fantastic R2.45 million return this weekend, the film which was playing on 93 screens nationwide is distributed by Times Media Films locally, giving the distributor another week back at number 1.
After having reigned three weeks back with X-Men: Days of Future Past, the mentioned film currently sitting at number 4 with over R1.27 on the box office down 24.5% and was screened on 101 cinemas nationwide.
The rest of the top the top 5 has Maleficent moving down to 2 from last weeks pole position, down 29.3% with R1.9 million over the weekend playing on a lovely 113 screens.
Closing out our top 5 is the hit romantic comedy The Other Women with just a low decline of 6.1% having the film make just over R.73 thousand in its seventh consecutive week in the top 10, The second longest after Rio 2, which currently sits at number 9 in its 10 week on circuit.

The overall weekend gross for the top 5 films for the weekend June 13-15 is sitting at R7 962 463 up 22.5% from last weekend overall top 5 gross of R6 170 727.
