Ster-Kinekor brings ‘Great Moments at their Greatest’ with pre-screenings latest blockbusters


Ster-Kinekor will be giving movie-goers an exciting chance to catch the latest blockbuster films before their national release. For the weekend July 19-20 The mega distributor will be bringing Think Like A Man Too and Step Up: All In, in full-on digital projection on the big screen, ensuring that you ‘see it best’ and ‘see it first’ and of course to enjoy ‘Great Moments at their Greatest’

The first film to benefit from this amazing pre-screening will be Think Like a Man Too  the sequel to the 2012 box-office hit comedy Think Like a Man, which will be screened at all Ster-Kinekor release sites on Saturday, 19 July, for all shows,

Think like a Man Too continues the adventures in the sequel to the 2012 comedy, Think Like a Man. The film follows the same couples on their way to Las Vegas for a wedding. Candace (Regina Hall) and Michael (Terrence Jenkins) are getting married, so their friends hit ‘Sin City’ for their bachelor and bachelorette parties.

They all go out, with the men targeting various strip joints and gambling tables, while the women head to a nightclub. However, plans for a romantic weekend go awry when their various misadventures get them into some compromising situations that threaten to derail the big event.

The film is directed by Tim Story and also stars Adam Brody, Dennis Haysbert, Gabrielle Union, Gary Owen, Jenifer Lewis, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Hart, Meagan Good, Michael Ealy, Romany Malco and Taraji P. Henson. It carries a 13L classification and the running time is 2hrs.

While the latter film Step Up: All In, which acts as the 5th installment of the dance film franchise Step Up, has a special pre-screenings in 3D, on Saturday, 19 July and Sunday, 20 July, at all Ster-Kinekor release sites across all show times.

In Step Up: All In, the fifth installment of the extremely popular Step Up series, sees the return of previous stars including Briana Evigan, Ryan Guzman, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, Alyson Stoner and Adam G. Sevani. The film is directed by Tish Sie.

Miami street dancer, Sean Asa (Guzman), moves to Hollywood with visions of fame and fortune, only to discover the almost insurmountable odds of making it in the professional dance world.  When the new dance crew he forms, with the beautiful and headstrong, Andie West (Evigan), reaches the final rounds of a high-stakes reality TV competition in glittering Las Vegas, the group has the chance to define their dreams and their careers. Sean has a shot at finally making his dreams come true… if he can just set aside old loyalties and long-time rivalries, and do what he loves most: to dance.
