This Friday, 9TH October on Win a Home – The Design Edition at 19:30 on SABC3, the competing design teams are tasked with decorating their bathrooms. The designers re-tile, source plumbing, fit new baths, source shower doors and more – all within a very tight time constraint and for a very confined space. The drama is immense in this episode as three days is deemed ‘mission impossible’ to design and decorate a bathroom on a budget of R30 000. Contestants struggle with their choices and tempers flare as they’re forced to decorate under pressure. Team Detale only has one member after Travis was eliminated last week. How will Jackie deal with the pressure of being on her own?
To make matters even more stressful, contestants also have an individual challenge to complete. They are tasked to create a smell of their choice, for their bathrooms – creating an object that will look attractive and give off a fragrance.
As Jackie was declared the first finalist last week, she does not need to participate in the individual challenge this week. So it’s a battle between Team Bespoke and Team Blu Print, who fight to be safe from elimination.
There’s a limited budget and very little time. Emotions run high and the tension is nail-biting.
This week’s judges are highly regarded interior design heavyweight Stephen Falcke; Plascon’s Colour Manager Anne Roselt, and Adrian Goslett, CEO of Remax South Africa.
