
Principal photography on X-Men: Apocalypse – the followup to X-Men: Days of Future Past and the conclusion to the X-Men: First Class movie trilogy – may begin before this month draws to a close, with Bryan Singer for sure back in the director’s chair. Singer honed his social media marketing skills throughout development on Days of Future Past, but has doubled his efforts with Apocalypse – having now broken multiple casting announcements for the film.
The latest update from Singer? Olivia Munn has joined the Apocalypse cast as Betsy Braddock a.k.a. the telepathic mutant called Psylocke. Munn’s fellow newcomers to the cinematic world of X-Men in Singer’s upcoming film include Game of Thrones‘ Sophie Turner as a younger Jean Grey, as well as newcomer Landa Condor as Jubilation Lee a.k.a. Jubilee and Ben Hardy (EastEnders) as (Arch)angel – confirmed by Singer (and concept art) last week – among other young stars.
