Her confirmation follows a report in Drum magazine which detailed Ferguson’s acceptance of an offer to reprise her role as Karabo Moroka. Rumours of Ferguson coming back have made their rounds for a few weeks with the actress declining to confirm until now.

Ferguson played the role of a rich, spoilt daughter who was a cocaine abuser and who turned her life around to become a capable, and love spurned business woman.

Viewers loved Ferguson’s role which also saw her go through a bevy of handsome men and she was renowned for her versatile acting abilities. Ferguson left Generations which pulls over 7 million viewers about three years ago, her character left for overseas with Tau Mogale played by Rapulana Seiphemo who is also said to be a shoo in for the soapie.

Ferguson will juggle running her film production company which she co-owns with her husband, Shona, with playing a character in the upcoming Mzansi Magic Rockville series, running her skin care company, and appearing in Generations.

Speaking to a monthly magazine, Ferguson alluded to her recipe for success by stating that she was a people’s person who understood different personality types.

This will come in handy on the Generations set as executive producer, Mfundi Vundla is known for being a strict boss who expects nothing but the best from his cast.
